Children's Book Author Mariela Kleiner Makes Teaching Science to Pre-Schoolers Easy & Fun!

Teaching little ones the basic concepts of science has never been
easier or more fun with the help of Mariela Kleiner’s new children’s book, Meet Einstein.

Inspiration for her picture book came when her own daughter, Hailey, chose a “grown-up” book for bedtime – Albert Einstein’s Relativity. Kleiner knew right then she could write a book using Einstein as a character, but improvised so that children could truly understand – and thoroughly enjoy it.

In this darling new educational children’s book, Einstein helps introduce youngsters to science and shows them they are already great scientists. Light and gravity are concepts preschoolers are able to learn, so why not share the lessons in an entertaining way? Kleiner’s story helps children make the connections in everything they see and do, while showing that science is all around them.

“Meet Einstein” includes a section for parents to learn about Einstein, so they can help their kids learn more about him and explore the concepts in this book.

This is Kleiner's first children's book publication. She lives in Northern California with her husband and two very curious children.  Kleiner previously worked for Google; and she and her husband have are creators of The Giving Challenge, in which they gave 17 of their friends $1.000 to spend within one week toward bettering someone else's life and had them video document their experience. It was such a success that they decided to make it an annual event and were featured on The Oprah Winfrey show.
